Destination weddings are to must fun to attend, but what goes into planning them? Believe it or not, destination weddings are not that difficult to put together. Martha Stewart has her top “8 tips on How to Plan a Destination Wedding” on her website, Martha Stewart Weddings.. These are her top 6 tips. 1.Obviously, you need to choose a destination first While choosing your destination keep in mind the locations weather during the dates you are choosing and the date will also determine how expensive the flight will be. It is also a good idea to visit the destination location before you book the place, to make sure everything is the way you want it to be. 2.Travel Plans You need to make sure the traveling for your guest is enjoyable and not too difficult for them to manage. Also need to remember that most guests are paying to airfare and accommodations, so keeping those prices as low as possible is ideal. Send them information packets at least 6 months in advance to guest. 3.Organization is key It is a good idea to organize your trip well a head of time, as soon as possible, and try to meet as many people as possible at the venue to keep them up to date on everything too. Get everything that you need for the venue and what the venue supplies written out on paper, or make a list. 4.Marriage regulations Make sure you check what the location’s state or country’s marriage regulations are as soon as possible. 5.Local experts Hire or find any local experts in the destination’s area to help with the planning and organization. The hotels and venues usually have a wedding planner on location for you to utilize, or you could hire a wedding planner close to location that can go and check on the location for you. 6.Ship whatever you can to the destination If you can ship items that you can get where you live and not at the destination, you might save some time and money. You can also ship your linens and paper items easily through the mail. When planning your destination wedding, always stay calm and confident with your decisions. Your wedding day will be perfect if you follow those 6 tips. Article by: Deanna Castellente Photo by :Kelsey Combe Photography
