Focus on What's Important

There have been many brides who have come through the boutique, but at some point, almost all of them ask, "But will my fiancé love me in this dress?"

As a bride, there can be many fears when it comes to how you will look on your wedding day. Will I lose those 15 pounds I want? Will my hair and makeup look amazing? Will my dress look perfect? These are reasonable fears, ladies.

But I'm here to tell you, your fiance is focused on one thing and one thing only. You. It's not the dress you picked or the way you're wearing your hair, but you as a person. He's seeing the woman he shares laughter with. The woman that has supported him and been by his side. The woman he's chosen to devote his life to. The woman that may one day carry his children. The woman he will be holding hands with on your front porch when you're older. Just pure joy for the things that have led up to this point and all the wonderful things that will happen after. He's excited to see you because you're YOU; not because of how you look.

So when you're picking your dress, how you wear your hair, or what makeup to wear, just know that all of that is secondary to you just being yourself. This day is to celebrate you and your fiance. He's excited that you're there and that you're ready to take on this crazy thing we call life with him by your side. Don't lose focus on what's truly important on that day; each other.
