When thinking about that sweet man that has made your dreams come true, you ponder what to get him for your big day. Will you get him a gift? Are you supposed to get him a gift? No, there isn't a rule that you have to get your groom a present for your big day, but it's nice to let them know that they are on your mind on your big day when things are more than likely super hectic and rushed. So how will you decide what you get your man for your big day? Let us help! Big or Small?
When deciding what to get your groom, you must come to the conclusion of big or small. A big gift doesn't have to mean big in size and a small gift doesn't have to mean small in size, this is also referring to monetary value of the gift. Everything else that you did for your wedding had a budget, so why not a budget for any gifts you may give to each other as well. Hobbies Cater to his hobbies. Does he like to golf? Do he like cars? Does he like a certain scotch or whiskey? The options are endless. Supporting his hobbies is a great way to show him your appreciation. Maybe you'll get him something that he will carry with him throughout his life from here on out! Think of his hobbies, once you incorporate the budget into the process, you'll be golden! Any gift pertaining to his hobbies will be a win. Is It Useful Maybe you're more of a practical couple and wish to stick along those lines of being practical for your gift. Useful or practical does not have to be boring, not by any means! Useful gifts like a new wallet with his initial on it or a watch that he can wear everyday with a special note engraved on the back are not boring at all! These gifts are not only useful, but they are sentimental as well. Every time he opens his wallet or looks at his watch, he will be reminded of his beautiful bride! Personal Affect Make sure that there is a certain personal feel of your gift. No matter what the gift you choose, pertaining to their hobby or if you go with a useful gift, make sure that it has a personal affect about it. You want him to think, "wow, she thought of me when she got it and it's perfect". You don't want him to question if the gift is for him or not! To make your gift more personal you can put a picture with it or have it monogrammed to fit his initials. A Note Not really into gifts? Want to enhance your gift even more? A hand written note or letter gets the job done every time. Every. Single. Time. A letter is a great way to express how you are feeling without having to actually say what you are feeling. This letter is a piece of you, something that you took time to handcraft, time to manipulate words and feelings just for your groom. And you can keep it for all of time to come, reread it when you feel down or simply when you want to remember one of the happiest days of you life! Picking the perfect gift is hard, especially when you want to say the exact right thing. Just know, there are no rights and wrongs when it comes to gift giving. Especially to those we love. It really is the thought that counts! Let your groom know that you are thinking of him in the best way possible. Give him a gift that he can use for all of time or just to carry with him knowing that his bride was thinking of him in the best way on their wedding day. No matter if the gift is large or small, the token that you have given him will remind him for all of time of the love that you share, not only on your wedding day, but for years to come.
