The Meaning of Love

The word "love" is an incredibly powerful word. However, it is constantly thrown around in a manner that diminishes the true meaning and idea behind the word. People very often claim that they love material items, places, events, and other aspects of life that are relatively insignificant, but do not recognize the true value or power of the word that they are using.

The real meaning of the word love is when two people come together through an unconditional sense of attachment to one another that is meant to last a lifetime. These two people agree to be each other's partners through thick and thin and ups and downs, promising to have each other's backs regardless of the many trials and tribulations that life throws their way. When two people truly love each other, there is not a single thing that they would not do for one another. They live to put smiles on each other's faces and serve as their source of happiness. They have a genuine sense of caring for each other's well being and want to see each other prosper in every aspect of life. They accept one another for who they are, no matter their flaws, and encourage each other to be themselves. However, at the same time, they help each other work on their flaws in order to better themselves as individuals. People who are in love with each other love their partners more than they love their own selves, putting their wants and needs in front of their own.

Love is not only a word, but an incredibly powerful form of passion and energy that two people share with each other.
